Cocktails...Mojito

One of my favorites...

Mojito is a traditional Cuban highball. Traditionally, a mojito is a cocktail that consists of five ingredients: white rum, sugar, lime juice, sparkling water, and mint.


Main alcohol: 
Rum

Ingredients: 
6 leaves of Mint
1 oz (3 parts) Fresh lime juice 
Soda Water, 1 1/3 oz (4 parts) White rum
2 teaspoons Sugar

Preparation: 
Mint sprigs muddled with sugar and lime juice. 
Rum added and topped with soda water. 
Garnished with sprig of mint leaves. 
Served with a straw.

Served: On the rocks; poured over ice

Standard garnish: Sprig of mint, Yerba buena

Drinkware: Collins glass

Traditional Moscow Mule
Here's a cocktail from Brittany Deloach, Bonefish Grill...can't wait to try it. :)

What You’ll Need 
2 oz your favorite vodka
0.50 oz fresh lime juice
2 oz ginger beer

How to Make It 
Combine the fresh lime juice and your favorite vodka into a shaker tin.
Shake and strain into a copper mug filled with crushed ice.
Top off with ginger beer and give a little stir to mix.
Garnish with a fresh mint.
